Miss Milligan

2015-2016

There was some very sneeky filming going on in Reception during the Christmas holidays. Take a look at what was happening while you were away from school!

Father Christmas wasn't the only one to be a bit sneeky! Look at these very cheeky reindeer!

After catching Father Christmas and his reindeer having fun in our classroom we spotted them leaving for their very important mission.

Our Christmas production was amazing! We all worked really hard to make it a success and it really was! All of the children, staff and parents enjoyed it, as did we. Thank you very much to all of the parents, carers, aunties, uncles and other family members who came to support us.

Reception A have been very busy!

To celebrate Valentines Day some of us worked with Miss Milligan to make heart shaped biscuits. We helped to collect the ingredients and equipment and followed the instructions to make our biscuits taste yummy!

As part of our topic about animals and their habitats we had a visit to the Horniman Museum. We visited the aquarium with Reception B and saw lots of lovely fish. A lady also spoke to us about different animals. We learnt about where they live.

Before the Easter holidays we had to help The Little Red Hen look after some of her eggs until they hatched. When the eggs did hatch we were lucky enough to hold the chicks and watch them as they grew. They were so fluffy and cute! We recorded what happened in our chick diaries.

This term we will be doing lots of learning outdoors. Every week we will visit the Forest School with Mrs Barcoe where we will do lots of exploring in a natural environment. Everyone is really excited about what we will see and do. Here are some pictures of our first session.
